Monday, December 16th: Spark, Triple Play, and Positive Actions. (The club will be Closed for Community Dinner) Mondays will be filled with activities designed to spark creativity and teamwork. Students will engage in our Spark, Triple Play, and Positive Actions programs, which focus on physical activity, social skills, and personal growth. Regular programming at the CVYC will resume on Tuesday. However, the Club will be closed that evening for our Christmas Community Dinner, starting at 5:00 PM.Join us for a festive pancake dinner, with entry available by donation. Santa Claus will also make a special appearance at the Club from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Each child will receive a Christmas gift during their visit with Santa.We look forward to celebrating the holiday season with our community!
Tuesday December 17th: Art Club & Gymnastics Class: On Tuesdays, we dive into creativity with our Art Club, where students get into the spirit of Thanksgiving by sharing what they’re most thankful for while expressing their artistic talents. Alongside this, our gymnastics class helps kids build strength, coordination, and confidence as they practice their skills in preparation for their big showcase. We can’t wait to see the imaginative creations and gymnastics progress! Snack time will also be available in the cafeteria, where students can work on their homework with support from staff.
Wednesday December 18th: STEM and Science Projects plus Early Closure: Wednesdays are all about exploration and innovation. Students will participate in engaging STEM and science projects, allowing them to experiment and discover the wonders of science. It’s a hands-on opportunity to enhance critical thinking and problem-solving skills! As always, students can enjoy snacks and receive homework assistance during snack time in the cafeteria. Last day for programming day till we go on break from December 19th-January 7th!
Thursday December 19th: Holiday Break
The CVYC will be closed for Christmas Break beginning Thursday, December 19th, following Center Schools' schedule. There will be no programming during the break, and we’ll reopen on Tuesday, January 7th to kick off the new year with exciting activities and programs!
This break allows students and staff to enjoy some much-needed time off to celebrate the holidays with loved ones. From all of us at CVYC, we wish you a safe and joyful holiday season. Happy Holidays!
Friday December 20th : Holiday Break
It’s the last day before our Christmas Break, and we’re wrapping up the week with festive fun! Regular programming will still be running, so be sure to stop by the Club for one last day of activities before the holiday break. As a reminder, CVYC will be closed on Thursday, December 19th, and there will be no programming until Tuesday, January 7th.
